Marshall Revealed has been a project two years in the making. As a resident of Marshall Michigan I
see the "tourist" sites daily. Our beautiful fountain and historical homes have been photographed in the
extreme. If each photograph taken had the ability to take with it even a small fraction of its subject,
Marshall would cease to exist.
My vision for the Marshall Revealed project has been to expose and reveal to the viewer the hidden and
overlooked that exists in Marshall. All around our town is beauty that most people do not see. From the
subtitles of an architectural detail to a new perspective on an old theme, beauty
is abundant in our little town.
The photographs that I have captured are unlike the traditional "Marshall"
photograph. Some images are abstract and some documentary. The
photographs can serve the viewer as a standalone testament to Marshall or as a
treasure map to the hidden. As the viewer can you find where all the images
were made?
